Ideas for eliminating homelessness in Edmonton's downtown core:

-make 500 sandwiches, containing lethal amounts of rat poison. Distribute along Jasper Avenue. Wait. Shovel. Repeat as necessary.

-take 1 (or several) large busses along Jasper Avenue. Lure homeless people into bus with 40 s of malt liquor. Drive bus(es) off cliff.

I really love being back in school. I just want tot go to school for the rest of my life.

beginning and end

I finally made it back to the coast a few weeks ago. Justine and I went to see Radiohead in Vancouver so we stayed for 5 days. I got to see my cousins ridiculously huge house and swim in her pool. White Rock beach, Stanley Park, Granville Island and everything. We had such a great time. Beer was so cheap everywhere. All we drank was Granville Island Brewery beer. And it was 10 bucks a pitcher pretty much everywhere.
The night before the concert we went to the Cambie and there were sooo many people from Edmonton there.It was a big awesome Edmonton party. There was a cool exhibit at the VAG as well. Steph and Math came with us. It was all about comics and video games and anime. There was also a really interesting contemporary artist from China that I really liked.

The show itself was AWWWEESSOME. They sounded so perfect. It poured and poured but we had ponchos so it wasn't so bad. UNTIL WE HAD TO LEAVE. Thousands of people leaving all at the same time. It was ridiculous. Bussing home was ridculous too. But we made it. It was great.

I pretty much missed all of Fringe. Between work and being out of town. On the last day though a bunch of got wasted in the river valley and witness Morgan shitting off of a tree. WHICH I WILL NEVER FORGET FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.

The last weekend before school Tyler and I went to Calgary. We drive down with Mark and stayed at his parents house, it was a lot of fun! Mark had a booth at the tattoo show and I had a game on Sunday so it worked out awesome. We went to the zoo and went out a couple of places. I WENT TO TUBBY DOG, TWICE!! The game on Sunday was pretty disappointing, we lost by quite a bit. Playing is always fun though. I think everyone learned a lot. It got me really pumped for Spokane as well. I'm determined to not miss a single practice before our game. I might even work out on other non practice days as well!!! We'll see...

I'm really enjoying being back in school right now. I wish I could take more than 2 courses. I might talk to an advisor and see if I can switch into the bachaelor of arts program next semester instead of next year. I feel so ready to be in school right now. I had an a crazy fucking summer. It was amazing, but crazy nonetheless. I think I almost partied myself right out. Now I'm calm and rest and ready to learn! YAY!
