BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Last night at the Empress while Justine and I were out for a smoke a car BLEW through the intersection going at least 80 or 90 km/hr and smoked another car with some unfortunate elderly couple inside. This caused quite a ruckus on the patio and pretty much occupied the rest of our evening. We were just standing there and all of a sudden there's this screeching so everyone looks and BOOOOOOOOM! the cars go spinning through the intersection. The impact was insanely loud. I jumped pretty high and debris flew out and hit the pole a few metres ahead of us. It was insane! Then Cory and ourselved sat on the patio and watched emergency response workers do their stuff.
There was one guy out in the intersection directing traffic and he was just some guy from the bar who left his girlfriend out on the sidewalk. There was some speculation that he was an offduty policeman but I like to think that he was just some dude who had been waiting for the one moment his whole life to be a hero.

[sigh]

I really don't like my new job guys.

It's so discouraging trying to serve people who don't even care to eat or drink. Who would rather you just quit walking by and not ask them if they want anything while they are watching the races. Apparently things (including tips) get better once you get to know the regulars.. but I look at these people and I have no desire to. They're losers!! I feel bad saying that, but they are!! They sit there all day, most of them dont even have anything to drink let alone eat (not even water!) and they stare at the screens. And make stupid piles of paper everywhere. Get mad when you try to clean up after their sorry asses. Occasionally order a coffee or a pop (rarely) and don't even tip a quarter.

I have to find another job, I am wayyy too broke to quit until I do. BaHHH!!

Last night I was waiting for the train home and there was this guy standing on the platform pacing between the bench and tracks singing along to his music. He looked sooo peaceful! He just closed his eyes and swayed and sang, something ballady and cheesy. He was my hero! He didn't care how many people were around.
I made sure I got a spot near him on the train so that I could listen to him all the way downtown. I wish I was that comfortable with myself!

paper cuts

So I was just given the task of folding 500 sheets of paper and stuffing them each into an envelope, and sealing them.

I long for the days of working at Onoway Elementary and having a folding machine.

I started a new job, I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. It might grow on me slightly. I don't know though. I'm giving it chance though, at least a couple of months.

Tony Stark is my boyfriend?

T and I went to see Iron Man last night. IT WAS SO FUCKING GOOD GUYS!! I had shakes. SHAKES!!! Robert Downey Jr is the dreamiest Tony Stark imaginable. OH GOODNESS!!

I actually do not think I'm ready to speak intelligibly about it yet.
