I'm still not used to it being light out when I get up for work. Every morning when I first peak my eyes open and see the sun shining through my window my heart stops beating for the few seconds it takes me to reach around the floor for my phone and see that I still get to sleep for another half an hour.

Every once in a while I like to take a look at my life and see what doesn't make me happy and do my best to eliminate what doesn't. Most recently I finally admitted to myself that I am completely done with Starbucks. Tonight is my last shift!! I do have to find another job since I can't get enough hours at the museum to pay rent AND buy groceries... but the thought of finally being finished there is so exhilarating.
