Oh so many things.
I always forget I have a blog until I'm bored at work but by then I've forgotten all of the interesting things that have happened to me over the course of the week. I'll try my best though.
Working at the Bistro is rad. It's so much easier for me to deal with the general public when I'm not being pressured into being fake and letting jerks walk all over me. It's such an easy going atmosphere that it's just so hard to not being upbeat there.
My boss at the Bistro (Lambert) is hilarious. I'm not sure if he realizes it though... the other day he came in pretty early when I had opened and after sitting on the computer playing solitaire for an hour or so declared that he woke up too early, and that he was going to have a nap in the car! He's such a character.
In the last couple of months the museum has gone from being the dreamjob to completely intolerable. I'm really trying to stick it out since this could just be a rough patch but it's sooo frustrating to feel like I will never do anything good enough for my manager. I've pretty much reached the point where I feel like I don't even care anymore. I've been late a bunch and stuff and it's not that I mean to I just think my body knows how much I hate being here it won't let me get up on time.
It's been so hard to get up anyway, especially when I'm with Tyler. He's done work for the summer so he never has to get up early. It's hard to leave his warm body in the morning. I'm such a dork for him, it's embarrassing.
Last night after going to the bar for a bit Justine and I were riding our bikes home and as we happened to ride past Kenny's shop we noticed the light was on! So we knocked on the door and were delighted to find that Morgan and Jonny were hanging out there too so we shared a beer and then somehow ended up at H20 karaoke lounge. HILARIOUS. It was out first time there and of all the shitty dive bars to go to we choose the one our buddy Don is at too! We saw a bar fight, lots of terrible karaoke. Lot's of cougars. Jonny and I sang Tom Sawyer as a duet. Morgan sang Tie Your Mother Down. It was taking to long for our songs to be called. We were all getting tried drunk. We left. .. the boys walked ahead since we were having a smoke and had our bikes with us. Justine fell off her bike a million times. We finally got to Tyler's (a few hours after I told him I was on my way...) and he had passed out across his bed in all his clothes. That was fine considering I had to work in a few hours so I put my contacts in some shot glasses and passed out next to him.
